Waialae Beach Park
This beach is located at 4925 Kahala Ave, Honolulu, HI 96816-5409, just past the southern end of Waikiki. It is an easy drive from Waikiki and Kapiolani Park that takes approximately 10 minutes by car from Waikiki.
It gets morning and midday sun, so those are the best times for a ceremony here.
This is not a good beach to host a sunset wedding as the trees block the sunset.
This beach offers a gentle tide because it sits in a cove, yet it has beautiful scenes of the Koko Head volcano in the backdrop.
There are patches of grass and palm trees on the beach, which make it ideal for a gorgeous photo.
Sandy Beach Park
This beautiful beach is located about 25 minutes from the South edge of Waikiki , and just around the southern tip of the island on the East side at 8801 Kalanianaole Hwy, Honolulu, HI 96825.
This beach is perfect for sunrise and midday weddings.
There are some areas of this beach with green trees that sit on the edge of a big park .
Sandy beach is a favorite for locals, and it often has a number of people gathering in groups on the sand, but, there is always an opening for a beautiful ceremony.
Magic Island Beach Park
Magic Island Beach is part of Ala Moana Beach Park, a popular Honolulu city beach, located between Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. Even though it is called Magic Island, this is actually a man-made peninsula. Couples love it because it has a beautiful beach as well as a grassy area with palm trees that give you a Diamond Head backdrop. This beach and park is busy, but there is always a beautiful area available for a ceremony.
